What does her insignia say? The dark blue Cygnus looks cool on her and Grey's armor!
Well done! Grey's dapples look very nice, too - a dapple gray charger is a lovely thing to see (when clean).
The insignia is her last name. I think the texture on the paper was a bit of a problem because it didn't show through very well. That and I've just realized how lousy my my eyesight has become.
Nice colouring.
Though a bit more research probably would have shown you some nice elbow joints for armor.
You're probably right. I was lazy.
What you didn't see in the rest of the pic (because it got cropped) was that I retooled the "skirt" part a bit so that the greatcoat drapes along the sides and the openings are in front and behind to facilitate riding. (And get yer mind outta the gutter—I couldn't think of a better way to phrase that.
Some times I can keep it out of the sewer too!
She's going to need that kind of optimism when she hits the battlefield. So will all of the gang, for sure!
I think the name came out fine. And I'm into bifocals, computer glasses, and squinting. Nothing like middle-age!
I'm at that stage where I need glasses, but can get along without them, so I misplace them. That and they tend to slide off when I'm drawing, drat it. So there was much squinting and cursing.
And yeah. I'm still trying to figure out who the stranger in the mirror is.
